Could it be that the mystic Knows that the water is just the water while the psychotic has given the water all kinds of meaning detrimental to her ability to delight. The ability to delight is undiminished in both; blocked by fear in one, free to soar in the other. Once I knew this was a choice and not genetic condition, not an inevitable story associated with my character, once I knew that I could set out to strip away my limitations the water became a source of delight. I am on it.
